White streaks/patches on orthopharynx, one swollen tonsil with small pus

White streaks/patches on orthopharynx, one swollen tonsil with small pus dot that seems to be slowly fading. Mild sore throat, occasional off and on fatigue. No fever. Been to the doctor twice. Started off with a z pack and upgraded to Amoxicillin. Doc didn't run any swabs/tests. Been on antibiotics and occasionally gargling salt water for going on 2-3wks.

I have swollen tonsils and white patches on them. This morning i received a shot of penicillin and a small swig of steroid to gargle. Within just a few hours, it no longer hurt to swallow. Even though they are still swollen, eating and drinking feels normal to me. Is this just a stage or am I better?

I m a 62 yr old female. Have swZ-ollen tonsils w/pus patches. Went to a minor emergency & dr said he suspects strep although the throat swab tested negative. I m on my 4th day of the zpac. Tonsils arent swollen. Still have small white patches. My question is --should I be so extremely tired. I am working but having to leave mid-afternoon.
