Hello, Devyani, Thanks for posting the question to H.C.M.Forum. White spots over neck, chest, shoulder & back are suggestive of a fungal infection known as TENIA Versicolor. These fungi are asymptomatic and remains in body in yeast form. In some individuals this yeast convert into fungus form and appears hypopigmented ( white color as in you) patches. Mild itch is there in these lesions. Diagnosis is confirm by taking spores form lesions by DERMATOLOGIST. So consult a skin specialist and get treatment and surely you will get relief. Good luck.
