Hi. For the last two months I noticed a white patch with a red border behind my tonsil going down my throat. It cannot be scraped off. I have this on both sides but it is more prominent and white on my left side. It is not to be confused with a tonsil stone as it is not on the tonsil. What could this be? I am going to an ent next week but just would like to get an idea for my own piece of mind.
whta you have got might be an aphthous ulcer, these you get if are stressed not slept properly or due to poor nutrition and few caes infection and other causes. iits better to see an ENT surgeon.

Hi,
If you do not have pain, it cannot be the aphthous ulcer, can be keratosis until examined thoroughly. Do betadine gargles (1:1 dilution) 3-4 times/day after food and drink plenty of warm water.
