White Lines After Brazilian Wax. Pus-filled Bump, Painful. Reason?
I recently went to get a Brazilian Wax and after the lady finished I started to get these white thick lines I want to say patches but they are not that bad and fairly small. After like about 2weeks later I felt like a bump on the side, I felt it and I was hurting I figured it was an ingrown hair but it wasn t it was sort of a pimple I squeezed it and white stuff came out exactly like a pimple. I don t what to think except I might be allergic. I ve only wax twice and the white spots came out both times.
Hi there,
It seems like you are suffering from folliculitis(infection of the hair follicles) which is very common after the waxing.
For now on I would recommend to apply Bacitracin ointment two times a day for 5-7 days and please don't pick or squeeze the pimples as there is a chance if cross infections through nails and fingers.
You can also use 1% Hc cream after you have done the waxing in future,it will prevent the inflammation after waxing and will prevent developing folliculitis.
If you think that Bacitracin is not helping then you may need to see your GP as he can prescribe some oral anti biotics.
I hope that will help.
All the best.
