White Discharge Floating In Urine. Pregnant. Is This Normal?
Hi, I am 28 weeks pregnant and since then when I go use the bathroom my urine seen like there white stuff floating. I ask my in laws see if that is normal and they said its normal is just me being discharge or whatever you call it. All this time I still have white stuff floating in my urine. I never care to use my midwife Everytime I go in for my check up cause I think it normal if I ask but it to the point where i need an answer from a dc or midwife. So is it normal to have white stuff floating in my urine during my pregnancy?

The possible causes for your problem are :
- Sometimes altered colored urine can be seen in pregnancy.
Usually in case of preeclamsia, there will be passage of albumin in the urine, that can lead to whitish appearance of urine.
-Contamination of the sample.
- Chyluria due to other causes like lymphatic problems, parasitic infestation etc.

So, consult gynecologist once and get examined.
Go for investigations like urine microscopy, serum proteins, blood pressure estimation etc .
