Four days ago I noticed my right hand felt like it had developed arthritis overnight. I did not see any kind of bug bite and had not bumped it. About five hours after feeling the initial pain, I looked at my hand and saw a white, round, elevated cyst under the skin (smaller than a dime) with a two inch circle of dark reddness surrounding it. I felt numbnees in my fingers and experienced continuous diarrhea starting on the day I noticed the injury. I put ice on my hand and later I used Stingeze Max 2. I went to see the nurse practioner yesturday to rule out mrsa She seemed to think it had more to do with the osteo and rheumatoid arthritis , which runs in my family. She did prescribe me an annoitment. The color and size of the wound are slowly decreasing, but I am really curious if you have any thought as to what this might be. Thnak you. Ann Shoddy
