ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hi,

There are many conditions which mimic the symptoms you are mentioning. The most likely ones are infection - viral (herpes zoster) and bacterial (such as impetigo which are usually painless). Sometimes sunburns, allergies and other conditions can mimic such symptoms. You need to visit an ENT specialist or a dermatologist to examine you and make a correct diagnosis.

Sreenivasan
