While Taking Amitizia For IBS And Constipation, What Could Cause Severe Vomiting?
I have IBS, chronic constipation, take amitizia. For the most part, I am regular, however on the weekends, I am out of my routine. I took it easy all weekend and did drink a good bit of red wine. Didn t have BM yesterday and today has been strained. Tonight, out of nowhere, violently vomiting.

you usually should not get vomiting within one day of not having bowel movement.
have you had this type of spell before.
I am more worried about gastroenteritis causing this. did you out side or did you eat anything different. if you are loosing more fluid you should some how get in more fluid into your body otherwise you need IV fluids.
do you have any fever.
are you passing flatus.
answer to above question will certainly find reasons.
