Which Tests Are Advisable For The Diagnosis Of Dorsal Scapular Nerve Entrapment?
I have been suffering for 2 months. Two months ago I went in to therapy to treat scapular dyskinesia but I ended up in pain and my therapist think I may have Dorsal Scapular Nerve Entrapment. Is there a specific test for this? Also, I was so frustrated I started to try to release triggers at the area on my body where I felt a pinch. I took my finger and pushed it into the back of my neck possibly c5, c6 or c7 and I felt a release and then something weird. I released and got scared. Is it possible I pushed my disc and ignited a pinch nerve because ever since then I have had nerve sensation on both sides of my neck and shoulder? I m hoping a second MRI will show this pinch will I be granted the opportunity to get a econd MRI or is there some other test to show what I did to myself. I regret it so much I have been in endless pain ever since.

Which Tests Are Advisable For The Diagnosis Of Dorsal Scapular Nerve Entrapment?
Hello, An Mri of the region can show direct nerve impingement if there is any. Secondly, a nerve conduction velocity test can be done. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Take care Regards, Dr. Harshita, Ophthalmologist
