Infertility Specialist Dr. Abhishek S. Parihar's  Response
Hi
Welcome to HealthcareMagic
During labor and delivery, hemodynamic fluctuations in patient with heart disease/severe anemia can be profound. Each uterine contraction displaces 300 to 500 mL of blood into the general circulation. All stages of labor and post partum period is risky in these patients. Labor should be conducted in well equipped unit. If you are particular about stage then its 2 nd stage of labor where there are high chances of CCF. Take care.
