Evaluation by a urologist may help. Often low sperm count and motility is due to a varicocoele. This is a varicose vein in the testicle. It can be surgically corrected and will improve the sperms count. Males can also take Clomid. This treatment is by prescription and must be supervised by a physician.

Urologist Dr. G.Srinivasan's  Response
Hello,

I understand that you are facing the problem of secondary infertility. The same reason for the delay in conception is possible this time as well. There are various reasons for low count and motility. Age is irreversible. The other reversible causes are quitting smoking, if so and correction of varicocele problem if he has one (that will be diagnosed by a urologist and will be corrected if necessary). He needs to be evaluated by a urologist/infertility specialist. There are some medicines for his problem but unfortunately, there is no guarantee.

All the best.
