Which Medicine Can Be Taken For Itching In Throat?

Since last 2 days I have slight itching in the throat. I have gargled with hot salt water 3 times a day. No much improvement and today I am feeling slight feverish with heavy head. I am 49 years old and please suggest which medicine I have to take. Thanks Raghavendra

Hello
It seems from the history that you are having itching in the throat associated with fever.
This indicates sore throat.
The treatment is by using antibiotics and by salt water gargling.
For symptomatic relief you can use cough lozenges.
If the symptoms won't cone down do consult your doctor for examination and treatment accordingly.

Thank you
