Which Medication Should I Take As Glycomet GP-2 Forte And Insulin Is Unable To Control Sugar?

I ahve been using Glycomet GP-2 Forte since last one year along with insulin. It worked very well till initial six months, but thereafter this is not controlling sugar well. Same had happenend earlier. Prior to this treatment, I was on Galvus and Gluconorm SR 500 which too worked fine for intial 6 months. Seems my body gets used to these medicine initially but after does not respond. Pl tell the reason for this and also which medicine now should i try

hi there
1. well for the starts the body does not really get used to the doses
2. the dose of insulin should be changed as per the diet you eat
3. monitor what you are eating
4. have your kft checked. deranged kft can change the needs of the body.
5. are you having any hypoglycemic symptoms? hypoglycemia causes a lot of fluctutaion

finally i suggest you maintain a sugar chart as follows with the medicine taken
maybe we can adjust your dosing

at breakfast- fasting and 2 hours after
at lunch- pre and 2 hours post lunch
at dinner- pre and 2 hours post dinner
record the insulin and tab taken with it
use your personal glucometer

let us know the record. we can probably help u

best of luck
