Which Is The Best Treatment For Diffuse Sclerderma?
Thank you...my name is Cindy Roberts. My son who is 32 years old is at saint Joseph's hospital in Phoenix Arizona. He has after many tests over 11 months and too many specialist to count been given the diagnosis of diffuse sclerderma. I can't sleep or eat....after a 12 day stay and a renal crisis...they will release him ..maybe tomorrow.
The reumatolgist with no bedside manner basically said we're done here...we will put you on cellcept but don't expect any good results...it's shown no benefit in studies....Sorry (explicit) I am his Mom...I will never give up. Help me please! Now what do I do?

Being a case of Diffuse Scleroderma , other options should be tried like Dexamethasone Cyclophosphamide pulse treatment which can be started by your Doctor at the hospital .
Cellcept may or may not work but a course of Corticosteroids can definitely make some quick difference to his condition.
He would need a detailed examination before starting the pulse therapy.
