Which Drug Is Less Cardio Toxic For Heart Disease?
I have stage 1 IDC breast cancer with a double mastectomy and nnuclear node mapping. 6 sentinel nodes were benign. However my grade is 2/3 with positive Er Pr and positive her2. I have afib and heart disease. Herceptin and kadcyla are box labels for cardio toxicity as well as tykerb can cause prolong qt. I am in 1st degree heart block. Which drug is less cardio toxic

Dear patient,
Cardiotoxicity from all those breast cancer agents is similar, and unfortunately difficult to predict. A fib or first degree heart block however would not be contraindications for treatment with those. You will need a baseline Echocardiogram with strain imaging and regular follow up after chemo with Echo.
