My 18 year old daughter is not digesting her food. Within 15 minutes she has to run to the bathroom. Food is not digested when it comes out. She avoids all dairy and wheat. She has had two bouts of food poisioning in the last year and has seen a naturopath who says she has parasites. The doctor finds no parasites in her stool. She isn t losing weight and does not have lack of energy. She had a bowel intusseuption found when she was hospitalized with a weird virus, which came a few months after her first bout of food poisioning. The doctors just want to call everything Irritable bowel , but I am not okay with that answer.

Hi I m 23 years old, I m five foot six and weigh about 11 stone. 3 and a half years ago I was diagnosed with IBS which I received no pain medication for untill 6 months ago when I was perscribed merbentyl. IBS ensures that my day to day life is uncomfortable at best, quite painful at most. I m not constantly bloated but I am bloated after consuming most things. Bloat free moments are usually first thing in the morning. This is complicated by my implanon which for the past couple of months has made me feel as if I m on my period even when I m not (although its shows up when I m stressed and after all sexual activity). So I am bloated most of the time (I am trying to erradicate all foods that irritate me but it is a long ongoing process). My main concern is that I have ovarian cancer, although I know it is unlikely I feel that I have become fixated on the idea. Being in pain or uncomfortable all the time makes it hard to beleive something serious isn t wrong. Last time I went to my doctor they just gave me an STI test and told me to take two merbentyl 3 times a day rather than one. I have been with my partner for five years and have never been with anybody else and neither has he so the likleyhood of an STI is pretty slim. I don t have problems finnishing meals, I don t feel full quickly unless I m particularily ill but I do get a lot of pain down below. Is there a chance I have ovarian cancer or am I just not coping with IBS very well?

I have been experiencing some discomfort from my tailbone over the last few months. Recently I have been using a foam pad with a cut out for the tailbone area and it is making a big difference. I have been taking Advil on a somewhat regular basis to help. It seems to be healing , but its healing slowly. One thing that has been really annoying about this is that over the last few months, I have been having difficulty making a bowel movement . In the last few days I have not made a bowel movement. I took a laxative 2 days ago and it really helped, but since then I have not made a bowel movement (other than a couple very small ones).

Hello My SIster gets super sharp pains in her abdominal area and becomes super weak and shaky and just sits there and cries or sits over holding her stomach in so much pain. She will be completely fine and then it just happens. What would you say in your opinion this sounds like? She is 24 and symptoms like this started at age 6, and it s like things get worse and then she will have a period of being somewhat decent but still irritable bowel and diarrhea .

For the past several months, I have been experiencing severe nausea (sometimes vomiting), dizziness , sweating/chills, and abdominal pain each and every time I have a bowel movement and also when I wake up morning. Sometimes it feels like I am very hungry but the thought of eating food makes me even more sick feeling. I am a Type II diabetic and I have been diagnosed with IBS at age 15. The only relief I get from these symptoms is by taking a hot bath/shower to soothe my stomach. I am a 31 y/o female, smoker.
