When To Start Walking And Gym After Radical Hysterectomy?
i was fairly fit before my radical hysterectomy surgery and now three weeks after the surgery i have a bulging tummy, can t walk like i used to early mornings and feel sad to look so awful. i know it will improve but when do you think i can restart my walking and gym.

Hi, - Slow walking can be started after 5 weeks post operative.While Gym with ab.muscles can be done between 6-8 months after your doctor's advice. - You can start with leg raising (6-8 inches from ground)& moderate stretching exercises after 5 weeks. _ have high protein,low fat,rich vitamin/minerals diet.Avoid fast food.Do routine work without exertion to abdomen from 5 weeks. - Avoid fast food,cold drinks. - take lot of fresh water.
