When Should Regestrone To Be Taken To Delay The Periods?

I want to delay my periods byba few days. Last month I took the tablet regesterone 5mg for 8 Days.i was supposed to get the period on 14..But after taking the tab ingot it on 19dec.So Iam.unsure if the date this month.Will it be as on the original date calculation or delayed date calculation.
Second how many days before periods shd we start taking it.

Hi,

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice. You have to count 1st day of menstruation on 19th December. So, if you have regular 28 to 30 days cycle, period will come around 17th to 18th January. So, you have to count from delayed date. You have to take Regesterone 3 to 4 days before the expected period date. So, start it from 14th January if you have regular 28 to 30 days cycle. Take 2 tablets twice daily on specific day. Take til you do not want period (maximum 14 days). After stopping pill, period will come in next 5 to 7 days. Avoid stress, take healthy diet, drink plenty of water and do regular exercise.
