When Should I Take Ipill After Having Unprotected Sex ?

I have been married since 4 months. Its 12th day from my periods. we had unprotected course today.my husband wants me to take i-pill. can i use that? I never used any birth control pills before.

hi,thanks for query,this is an emergency contraception pills and needs to be taken within 72 hours of act.This is a effective drug,you need to take some precautions while taking and you can have some problems like abdominal pain,nausea,vomiting etc.Please do proper family planning to avoid unwanted pregnancy.Please talk to your family doctor and select one of method of regular contraception.
