When Does Implantation Occur With Irregular Periods?
Hi , This question is for a gynaecologist. I am bleeding from last 4 days(today is 5th day). This is very unusual kind of bleeding. I bleeded for first 2 days and last 3 days were just spotting(5-6 drops). My period is usually 5-6 days. And I have irregular cycles. My last period was 25th of July. The amount of bleeding is much less compared to my period. I want to get pregnant and I have read a lot about implantation bleeding. I don t know if this is so. Plz tell me if implantation can happen with irregular periods?? When can I take a pregnancy test?
Even though you may be having irregular periods you have chances of getting pregnant. I think you should do a pregnancy test because pregnancy can be. Possibly even though you may be having spotting. Do a pregnancy test if you are more than 5 days on delay.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Olgeta Xhufka, General & Family Physician
