When Can I Expect My Periods?

I got copper t inserted in Dec 2013, after that I had bleeding for about 2 weeks. Next week to that, my periods were due but its been about 8 days up the due date, but periods have not come. Is it something to worry or is it normal? When can I expect my periods now?

Hi there, I have understood your concern and I will suggest you the best possible treatment options.

First of all do not panic.

You can wait till the onset of natural menses for a week more.

Another option is to have withdrawal bleeding, for this seek prescription support from your treating doctor for Tablet Regestrone 5 mg twice a day for 5 days.
usually bleeding starts within 3 to 7 day's after finishing the tablets.

If you are worried about pregnancy, please get morning's first sample of urine tested for pregnancy.
if negative, you can opt for any of the above options.

I hope this answer helps you.
Thanks.
