When Can A Myringoplasty Surgery Be Declared Successful?

How long is the healing process after a myringoplasty. I had a myringoplasty on April 3, 2013 to block a very small perforation that was unsuccessful and left me with tinnitus that I didn't have before and a 30% ear loss. I've got reoperated January 28, this time the whole to block was large and skins had grown under the eardrum. The doctor will evaluate my hearing in 3 weeks. But what's bother me the most are the constant tinnitus I had after the first surgery and, at the present time have still have changing also. - Is there still a chance for these changing tinnitus to go? What are the statistics about it? - After how much time a tympanoplasty can be declared successful? Very challenging and stressful time of my life since June 2013... and it seems to continue. Thank you for your answer. Francoise
