When I’m laying down on my back, sometimes I get

When I’m laying down on my back, sometimes I get this pain that feels like my lungs are closing and it hurts to breath. It’s not chest pains but close to the back, in the middle.
I want to know what it could be before I got to the ER and get tests done.

I fell down the stairs a month ago, Landed on my tail bone, and sort of twisted and heard and felt a crack in the middle of my back. I went to the doc and got x-ray to see if I had a fracture, but I didn t. My tailbone was cracked but not that bad. I still am having pain in my mid back and it effects me laying down, sitting up, laying on my side, or even sometimes breathing when I m in a certain position. What should I do? Do I need a chiropractor?
