Hi, my baby has tiny red bumps on his belly, chest, arms and legs. He also has some dry rough patches in the same area. His head has some scales that look to be craddle cap (which we are treating as such as per our doctor). Could he have eczema? If so, how do I treat this?
Hi and thanks for the query, It is possible that this be eczema. However, other simple fungal infections could still present as such. making the difference requires a clinical review and is easy to make. Take your doctor's treatment first. Local steroids with eczema and antifungal drugs are generally the drugs that shall be used. Considering the fact that seeing the lesions is a priority, I suggest you follow your doctor's recommendations first. kind regards
