What You Mean By Drug Screen Tests?
I am a 25 year old female, in Long Beach MS. I am currently taking Suboxone. I have to begin a program where I take random drug tests. Narcotics are prohibited. Will this affect my drug screen and show up as an opiate?

For what reason you have being taking this medication and since how long? This medication is used to treat narcotic (opioid) dependence. It works by preventing withdrawal symptoms. Since the buprenorphine (Suboxone) is actually a type of narcotic (opioid) itself, It will appear in the urine even after few days of last dosing. It shall affect the drug screen and show as an opiate. You can carry a Medical Certificate from the treating specialist about the treatment.
