What Would The Diagnosis Be Based On The Clinical Factors?
Hi, for many years I have been diagnosed with MS until recently. The neurologists says it s not ms, but some other kind of connective tissue disease. My c4 levels are low 19, my thyroperoxidaise level is 843, I have a small amount of immature granulocytes .07. I am extremely fatigued, hands arms, legs are very weak. I take levothyroxine and high cholesterol. My bad cholesterol is 196, my weight fluctuates 20 lbs up and down. I am having difficulty sleeping but yet extremely tired. Any suggestions?

I would like to review your brain MRI findings for a more professional opinion.
You should know that MS is an autoimmune disorder, which may coexist with other autoimmune disorders like thyroid dysfunction and connective tissue disorders.
Have you performed a spinal tap to check for the presence of oligoclonal bands? This would be another step in the diagnosis of MS.
From the other hand, I would also recommend performing a cervical and thoracic spine MRI study to be sure of MS diagnosis.
Steroid treatment may be needed considering your connective tissue disorder. A follow up with brain MRI to study the progression of those lesions is necessary too, before starting treatment for MS.
