What Would Cause Sore Throat, Burning Tongue And Hoarseness?

I feel sluggish every day for the last 8 years. I have a sore throat and burning tongue every day and a hoarse voice that has been getting worse over the years. For the last year I have been getting puffy eye lids and bags underneath my eyes. Been to 3 different ent's and my family doctor multiple times. They have prescribed me acid reflux meds, allergy meds, decongestant meds but nothing works. Nothing touches the problem. My voice is getting worse and worse and feel like crap every day. Feel very drained regardless of how much sleep I get. Feels like my body is trying to fight something off. I don't know what to do. The doctors are all clueless. Only thing that came back was that I have a deviated septum. I do not have any drainage that I can feel. Any ideas on what is going on would be great.

Hi,

Throat pain, burning sensation and hoarseness of voice may be due to viral pharyngitis with laryngitis probably. Other possibilities like a vocal nodule or laryngeal nerve palsy etc.

You may need to get it done indirect/ direct laryngitis, check for vocal cord palsy. The weakness of hoarseness may be due to hypothyroidism or depressive disorder or electrolyte imbalance etc.

Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is. Use water vapour inhalation and salt water gargling thrice a day for five days.

If symptoms not improved please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
