What Would Cause Excess Fluid In The Brain Despite A Double Aneurysm?

my sister 66years age has had double aneurysm treated in the last 6 weeks. First one coiled and 2nd clipped ..why is there so much fluid still being drained from brain? They have replaced drain from lumber spine which is now infected back to brain and she s very confused.

Intracranial bleeding extension into ventricle lead to block of CSF flow or it may lead to arachnoiditis or development of hydrocephalus. He may need shunts of ventriculo peritoneal or limbo peritoneal shunts.Yes it may cause Infection lead to meningitis or altered sensorium. He may need to drain CSF for analysis and culture and microscopy. If symptoms not improved please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.
