What Will Occur If Anti TB Drug Is Stopped In Diabetic?

63 y/o,105 lbs diabetic for 30 yrs insulin 15 u a day, im under anti tb treatment,recently i feel weak and nauseated since i start taking the anti tb drugs my sgpt rise to 128 u/l what will happen if i stop taking the anti tb drug or what is the alternative treatment for me?

In my opinion you are having AKT induced jaundice. Rifampicin, pyrazinamide and Isoniazid are hepatotoxic in nature and may cause risevin sgpt and weakness of jaundice. Treatment for this is stop all drugs and recheck sgpt after 10 days. If it gets normal you can take anti tb drugs in gradual fashion. For this you should consult pulmonologist. Other option is take modified AKT levofloxacin, ethambutol and injection streptomycin as all these anti tb drugs are safe on liver. And with diabetes you have to take AKT. There is no other option.
