Hello,

Medicines have side effects. The most common side effects of amlodipine are swelling of the ankles. Both of them may cause headaches or lightheadedness, stomach upset.

I suggest you keep under control of your blood pressure and make consult with your Cardiologist according to your condition.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
