What Will Be The Effect Of Missing A Dose Of Acitrom?

Sir, I have undergone AVR and CABG recently. I am prescribed 4mg Acitrom Sir I would like to know what happens if I miss a dose of Acitrom and what am i supposed to do immediately. What are foods to be avoided on Acitrom. I will be Thankful for your guidance in this regard Sir.

Missing single dose does not impact effectiveness of Acitrom. But this should be regular as missing dose can cause coagulation of blood and its complications. There is no need to do anything except take Acitrom next dose as usual and regularly.
There is no food restriction while on Acitrom. You can take your normal diet as usual.
Monitoring for its side is done by some blood tests.
Advice
1.     Continue Acitrom regularly and without missing any dose
2.     Monitoring test
a.     Complete blood count every 3 months
b.     Coagulation profile every 3 months
3.     Be in touch with your doctor
