What Will Be The Downfalls If Aricept Is Stopped?
Hello, my mother started taking Aricept for 2-3months. She now refuses it and if frightened by reading side effects from this. I feel that she responded so well(while she was on the medicine.) What are the downfalls is she stops, goes back on etc. thank you for taking your time to answer my question.....Sue

Aricept works best at early stages of alzeimers. As you go with it, it may loose its effect as alziemers is an irreversible disease.
she better continues to take it as long as she responds, as there are no downfalls of restarting it.
