What Treatment To Be Taken For The Burning Sensation In Vagina?
Hi,
I have this constant burning in my vagina. My doctor gave me a tablet called Mycorest which has made it worse. I was advised by a pharmacist to get Candizole V.. I have been using it for 3 nights now, there's no change at all...
Like all other body parts the vagina needs to be hygienic. Simple basic procedures like depilation( hair removal by a cream preferably), using V-wash, thats a trade name for a liquid soap specific for private parts and clean underwear, better if sun-dried, can go a long way in preventing vaginal infections. However if you do have infection already, you may use Betadine vaginal tabs locally and a general antibiotic like Ciprofloxacin orally plus an antihistaminic if you are prone to allergies. The scientific method, however, is to have a culture and sensitivity test of a high vaginal swab and treat tha infection accordingly.
