His age is 45. He does not take meal specialy rice from 7 years back but he can take only tea, biscuit etc. TEst like routine blood examination, chest X-Ray , random blood sugar are done. all are normal in range. But ESR shows slightly high. In upper G.I,tract endoscopy, oesophagus shows regurgitation of food material and stomach shows huge amount of food materials obscurring proper vision and there is a big exuberant growth in antral region narrowing the pyloric channel and the lesion bleed on touch. scope could not be negotiated further. biopsy taken from antram but not done. what is the probable diagnosis of this problem? if it is carcinoma please give us treatment.

Ayurveda Specialist 's  Response
Hi
It is too early to tag it as carcinoma. This can only be confirmed from biopsy report. The growth can be benign also. What about his addiction habits, stress etc. I would suggest you to try with punarnava guggul trifla guggul kamdugdha ras initially.
Punarnava is to reduce any oedema or inflammation around growth and may make the opening patent. Trifla guggul will check raised ESR and kamdugdha will check regurgitation and acidity. Later when patient becomes stable kanchnar guggul need replace trifla to reduce growth.

General Surgeon Dr. Akshata Powar's  Response
if the endoscopy shows an exuberant growth than there is a high chance of it being a malignancy; biopsy of the growth needs to be taken and CT scan abdomen needs to be done. In the era of medications for gastritis; gastric outlet obstruction due to benign causes is rare. You need to consult a surgeon at the earliest.

Dear
welcome to ayurvedic cure
There is low chance of being a carcinoma. its better to rule out by biopsy report. it may be benign growth. The patient may had gastric irritation may be stress induced. If there is history of alcoholism or smoking? Is there gastric ulcers or peptic ulcer? what about the stool report? bleeding...occult blood present.
for particular gastric irritation and GERD ayurvedic herbal medicine are very useful for you. Sutasherkar, kamdudha, prawal pisti has better neutralizing. The patient probable may have hiatus hernia... Common these dayss
Thanks
