Your daughter of 5 yrs has vomiting so she has probably exhausted due to dehydration;also excess vomiting causes loss of body salts so give her enough water to rehydrate also you can mix electrolyte powder with water & give her.I guess with intake of salt and electrolyte she will become more active as she is sleepy now.The best possible thing you can do is to consult a Paediatrician immediately and if he feels that your daughter is dehydrated he may advise admission.

Doctor suggested we have a urine analysis which showed the following result: SG:1.020 PH:6 NIT: pos PRO: 0.25 g/l GLU: norm KET:5mmol/l UBG: norm BIL: neg ERY: 25 u/l WBC: 200/mm3 Bacteria seen The dr said that her result was not good and she has some kid of infection and that she should also come for a detailed check up. Can you please tell me clearly what is wrong with her. She is 6 years old. Is she having a kidney problem. She has never complained of any pain in abdomen except ones caused by gases (we found that out through x-rays). Why does she have a high ery? Please guide me.

yes, I had a colonoscopy followed up by a barium and was diagnosed with dirvirtulosis . I believe this is a pouch in the colon. At present I have had diahrea for 5 days and my family doctor said it was dirvirticulosis. However I have not had any pain or vomiting. I have reflux to which I take Losec , which I know can cause some diahrea. He put me on antibiotics . what should my next step be?. I watch my diet and in the past have had regular bms sometimes 3 a day

My Mom (age 50 years) is having severe problem of intestine, gastric problem with acute vomiting..whatever she eats/drinks gets vommitted immediately. Earlier she had problem in natural call and had pain in stomach. We took her to a doctor and he diagnosed for few days but the problem is not getting sorted out...Although Natural Calls are now controlled from last 2 days and stomach pain is also very mild. She came back from hospital 2 days back. from today onwards, whatever she eats and drinks, she vomits it. Her stomach got swollen and that doctor told us that there is some intestine infection due to which her stomach is filled with water. i think it is a problem of gastritis. Can you help me in finding out the exact problem and the cure?
