Where the treating Doctor said that my wife is having sever intrauterine adhesion. But the Doctor also said that my wife s fallopian tubes and the eggs are fine and the overy is also normal in size. We are married for now almost 6 years. Is there any solution or treatment for cure of intrauterine adhesion and having our own baby?
Intrauterine adhesions are a major cause of infertility. She may try to undergo adhesiolysis. But the success of the procedure may or may not be satisfactory.
Even if the eggs are fine, adhesions prevent implantation of the embryo and even miscarriage. So you can try talking to your doctor about the posssibility of success of the procedure since he has a better idea of how severe the adhesions are.

Hello Dr. I have been trying to conceive for 8 years now since after my last pregnancy. I was on treatment for a long while on hormonal drugs, but even when ovulation was dictated, I couldn t not conceive. A HSG test and semen analysis show that all is good. However, I was told that I have adhesion due to the CS used for the last delivery and that could be responsible for my problem, Please what do you advise. Thanks Adudu Mama

Hello, I was on Birth control( Ortho tri cyclen) for about 3 months and i stopped taking them a few days into the last pack. 2-3 Days later i had dark brown spotting and then 2 days after i had a full period that lasted 5 days. i had a heavy flow during these days (5/5- 5/9). Last week I ve been cramping and for the past week and a half i have been extremely fatigued. Not to mention my constant urge to pee all the time when I ve barely had much fluent intake. My uterus feels heavy and cramps come and go. Ive taken several at home hcg strip pregnancy tests and all were negative. What could this be?
I had a c-section 10 months ago. About three months ago I was having weak, fatigue , constipation, severe bloating , nausea, and urge to urinate. Had cat scan and all blood work came back fine. However they took my gallbladder out just cause they saw stones. I was then sent to my OB and she did exam and ultra sound of uterus and all was fine. At that time I was put on Metronidazole and began to feel normal. Now two months later after my period ended a few days later I had they symptoms appear again. Some days are worse than others. This time I also formed thrush in my mouth, and I have had brown stringy discharge for 8 days. It may help to know that in the last 28 months I have had 2 c sections and a gallbladder removed. I am at a total loss. I have been healthy my entire life. I am also 41 years old. Thank you for your time.
hi, can you help me explain in unmedical way the result of my ultrasoud, the uterus is retroverted with regular contour and homogenous echopattern measuring 6.0 x 4.8 x 3.7 cm. the cervic measures 2.3 x 2.3 x 2.4 cm. the endometrium is trilaminar measuring 0.9cm with intact subendometrial halo. the right ovary measures 3.0 x 2.6 x 1.7cm. the left ovary measures 2.8 x 1.8 x 1.5cm . Within both ovaries are multiple peripherally located anechoic cysts more than 12 in numbers, each measuring 1cm in size with dense central stroma. there is minimal free fluid in the cul de sac.
4 weeks ago I had a hysteroscopy and laporoscopy under general anaesthetic . I had some endometriosis on the left side and this was removed. However, they also discovered that my left ovary has fused to my bowel. I will be seeing the consultant again in the new year, but just wondered what problems/treatment is likely to occur. My GP said Don t worry, we ll sort it out when it starts causing problems .
