hello. Welcome to HCM.
A single gall stone of size 3.4 cms definitely needs surgical removal. It will not dissolve by itself/ with medications. The laproscopic cholecystectomy is a safe and standardised procedure nowadays with minimal side effects. on the other hand, untreated gallstones can be complicated by gall bladder empyema, perforation and in very long standing cases, also by malignancy. So, get it removed at once in a good centre. It is one of those obedient diseases which have complete cure.
