What To Do To Get Rid Of A Sebacious Cyst On The Vagina?

I have a small sebacious cyst on the left hand side of the labia minora near my clitoris. Normally I would try to burst it, but It's very close to my clitoris and I'm worried about damaging the surrounding area. Would it be better to let it go down on its own accord? I have had it for about 5 days now but might have aggravated it by trying to remove it!

Hi,
If you feel the cyst is inflamed, I suggest you see your doctor for further examination. If it is infected, you will need antibiotics in the first instance. If the antibiotics fail to treat the cyst then a minor operation to remove it may be needed.

Dr K A Pottinger,
