What to do if there is no pain relief in coccyx after taking Febuxostat?
I have pain in my coccyx .i consultted a orthologist,he identified it as increase in uric acid(8.0).and avdice to take febuxostat 40mg.but after 15 day im not feeling any relief.i have pain only at this point at the time of sitting and standing...is it be coccygodynea

Your symptoms could be related to coccygodynia. For this reason, I would recommend performing a dynamic X ray of the coccygeal bone and a CT scan or MRI of this region. If the diagnosis is confirmed, I would recommend discussing with a spinal surgeon on the possibility of surgery.
