What To Do If Not Having Sexual Desire After Taking Citalopram For Anxiety?

hi ive been taking citalopram on and off for a few months now due to anxiety, and have been on them numerous times in the past but have absolutely no sex drive since taking them again, from being quite highly driven before hand its a big difference but not necessarily a good one as i am married . what do you suggest i can do to improve it, or is there a supplement i can take?

Citalopram belongs to the group of antidepressant medications known as selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors or SSRIs is used in the treatment of depression, anxiety disorders etc. It may cause decreased sex drive or low libido, erectile dysfunction, trouble maintaining an erection etc. Sometimes, Bupropion can alleviate SSRI induced low sexual desire. So, adding Bupropion in such cases may be helpful.

Again, taking Sildenafil or Tadalafil may be useful for alleviating SSRI induced low libido. But before start taking any medication like Bupropion, Sildenafil or Tadalafil for SSRI induced low sex drive, you should consult your doctor first and without your doctor's permission, you should not take any medication.
