hi
eosinophil count is increased in Parasitic and fungal diseases, Allergies, including to medications or food, Adrenal conditions, Skin disorders,Toxins
but for you allergy might be the cause, find the cause that is the important thing.
presently no need to worry.
if blood appears in the sputum again kindly consult physician.

Hi,
Thanks for query,
You are having Eosinophilic bronchitis.
Nothing to worry,it is of allergic nature.
Your other blood parameters are normal.
Take Tab. Hetrazan or Banocide twice a day for 7 days and you will be alright.
There is possibility of having worm infestation causing eosinophilia.
So you can go for anti worm course after consulting your doctor.
Avoid fried and junk food.
Ok and bye.

OBGYN Dr. Dr. Rakhi Tayal's  Response
Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
From your reports it seems that you are having slightly raised eosinophil counts with a chronic cough and cold. This is suggestive of allergic cause of the cough. For symptomatic relief, you need anti allergic like Benadryl, an anti inflammatory like montelukast, a steroid inhaler and regular steam inhalation under the guidance of your physician.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
Regards,
