What To Do If Having Lymphocytic Vasculitis And No Treatment Is Available?

HI I have been diagosned with lymphocytic vasculitis. This appears with swelling behind my ear across the base of my skull and down my neck. This gets swollen, itchy, and very painfull, with it comes major fatigue which I spend a few days in bed only getting up to go to the bathroom as I dont have the energy for any thing else. My doctor has told me there is no treatment. I have had this for several years years now am I am fed up. Can you advise me please

Hello,

It is treated to control inflammation and damage to blood vessels.

Treated with corticosteroids, antimetabolites and biologic therapies such as rituximab (Rituxan) or tocilizumab (Actemra) may be recommended, depending on the type of vasculitis you have.

Depending upon the stage of the disease the treatment may vary. Please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.
