General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Corn removal cap is not advisable to use by diabetic patient as corn cap removes corn through softening surrounding skin can increase and precipitate infection.
So it is advisable to consult surgeon and get it removed under strict sterile condition and under antibiotic medicne cover.
Ok and take care.
