What To Do If I Have Pins And Needles Sensation In Shoulders When Coughing, Sneezing After Inhaling Fumes From The Oven?

I had cleaned an oven a couple of days ago and even though the room was ventilated I must have inhaled some of the fumes. I started coughing so hard that it felt like my body from my waist up was on pins and needles. Now a couple days after when I cough for sneeze I feel that sensation in my shoulders still.

Hi!
Welcome to HCM!
Upper back pain near the shoulder blade on one side and intensified by sneezing is likely musculoskeletal. It seems that hard coughing caused mechanical muscle stress that is causing a nagging pain intensified by movement. Muscle rest is important, and discomfort longer than 2-3 weeks becomes worrisome. If fever, cough, or shortness of breath appear then is concern for more urgent evaluation.
Hope this helps!
