What To Do For White Dots And Bluish Lower Lip?

I am an end stage (IV) malignant melanoma survivor of 15 years. Now I have some white dot type places on my lower lip that at first I thought were going to be fever blisters. They are not fever blisters, and remain. Also, my lip is bluish in that area. Should I be concerned? Darlyne Beaudoin email: YYYY@YYYY

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

It can be a leukoplakia.

Consult a dermatologist and get evaluated. A biopsy is required to make a diagnosis.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
