Hello and thank you in advance.....My husband hurt himself in a fall today at work. He is on BP medicine and takes an aspirin a day. He fell against a step that had grids on it, (like one would wipe muddy boots on), and scraped the skin off of his arm. The wound is about 4 inches wide by 3 inches long. It looks like a burn. There is no pain like unto a third degree burn. We have cleaned it as good as possible. He applied Peroxide with a spray bottle on it at work and again after his shower. We wraped it with gauze with Neosporin spread on it at the injury site. I know it is exposed and could get infected easily. Should we do anything different? And should he use Peroxide? What about an Aloe Vera gel?
