What To Do For The Intolerable Pain In The Urinary Tract?

Hi.. I am suffering from uti and its my 2nd day of taking antibiotics.... However, the pain is unbearable right now and the urge to go to the bathroom has tripled. Is it that the antibiotics is not working? And what can I use to reduce constant clitoris throbbing??

Hello and thank you for asking HCM.

I have read your symptoms and i understand your concerns.

Its your 2nd day of treatement with antibiotics, and having pain again or the urge to urinate,it doesn't mean that the antibiotics aren't working. Usually (depending from the type and the dose of antibiotic) the antibiotics needs from 3 to 5 days to get rid of the infection so we can' t expect for the symptoms to vanish the 2nd day.
You need to give a few days to your body to heal itself.

For the pain/burning sensation you can use ibuprofen.
Also you can do some changes in your diet and help your urinary tract to heal itself:

-have plenty of liquids,2-3 liters each day
-fresh fruit juice to help your bladder fighting the infection
-rose tea, chamomile tea 1 cup each day
-urinate always just after having sex
-don't hold your urine for long

If you have any other question, feel free to contact me.
