From your description ,I have come to understand that your daughter is probably suffering from reccurent bronchial asthma .The medicines mentioned above by you may be useful in treating an acute attack of asthma. But it appears that your daughter is suffering from chronic asthma .In such cases it is preferable to offer preventive therapy which will improve the quality of life . For such preventive therapy inhalational corticosteroids are the treatment of choice .Inhalational cortico steroids have been proved to be extremely safe in children as well as in adults
