What Time Should Amlodipine Be Taken?
What time of day should I take Amlodipine 5 mg? I am also taking Losartan/HCTZ 100-25 mg in the morning, and Carvedilol 3.125 mg twice a day, morning and night. My doctor recently prescribed this as my blood pressure is high, even with the medicine I was already taken. He didn t tell me what time of day to take it, just once a day. The information I received with the medication doesn t say either. I ve been taking it mid-day. My blood pressure is still high 145-150/90-100. Yeah, I don t think so. I thought this would be free. I can call my doctor and get an answer for free on Monday.

You may take Amlodipine Tablet in the evening after intake of light snacks, provided you are taking other medication for blood pressure you have mentioned in the morning.
Once you start with this medication, kindly do a follow-up by checking your blood pressure after a week or ten days.
