What Sort Of Care And Precautions Should Be Taken For An Epilepsy Patient?
My father who is 82 year old has developed epilapcy in recent months after a major surgery of Deodinal ulcer with very old arthritus problem. One Nuorologist got his EEG test and confirmed this. Now please tell me as to how we should take care of him so that he could not suffer more
HI Well come to HCM If this is convulsion with unknown origin then this would be managed with anti-epileptic drug and I guessed that must have been given to your father, and that is the only option he has till final reason found out, generally "carbamazepine" is the best drug, this would prevent the further bout of convulsion, take care.
